A Tudor Makeover

Our client came to us asking for an update: “The pink was very old-fashioned and out of date.” She wanted a clean, crisp living room that felt light and fresh. This was achieved using a delicate color palate full of blues and greens mixed with neutrals. Essentials included a casual space to watch TV, reading chairs, and plenty of room to entertain.

She believed hiring designers was important to rein her in and help her achieve the look she wanted. “I tend to overthink, so it was good to hand the project over to professional(s)”.

It was important for our client to highlight the character of her Tudor home. These included leaded windows, wood beams, and a built-in entertainment unit in the family room.

The home was lacking recessed lighting, so finding the perfect mix of lamps was essential. Not only is our client a reader but she also wanted her lamps to look stunning. SWI loves lighting and believes it is essential for creating a mood for a space, so they were able to find beautiful lamps and “play up light”.

The final product was “comfortable and beautiful to look at.” The colors were as clean as she wanted them to be. The client was now excited “to invite people over” and her husband “was very happy” with the space. She believed hiring SWI was a valuable asset to completing her home update and looks more attractive and finished than if she had done it herself.

Our client enjoyed the fact that the ladies at SWI wanted her home to look perfect. She needed help accessorizing her spaces, from finding the perfect picture frames to hanging her art on the walls. SWI does not leave the project until it is absolutely complete and beautiful.
